Ian is a lawyer with Torry Lewis Abells LLP.  He began working at the firm in 2002 and became a partner in 2008.  Ian practices in the areas of real estate, corporate/commercial, and wills and estates.

Ian is Vice President of Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Lethbridge & District;  Chairman of the Servus Big Brothers Big Sisters Bowl for Kids Sake Committee 2010;  Treasurer for the Lethbridge/Macleod Bar Association; and a founding Director of the Young Professionals Association of Lethbridge. He serves as a lecturer for the Public Legal Education program and as a pro-bono lawyer for Lethbridge Legal Guidance.

Before moving to Lethbridge Ian attended Simon Fraser University (B.A.) and the University of Saskatchewan (LL.B. with distinction).
